Sayali is a mission-driven social development practitioner with a strong focus on devising sustainable housing solutions for the urban poor as a means to alleviate urban poverty. She has over 5 years of experience in urban housing policy making and its implementation where she has supported multiple state governments in their housing policy implementation She has been with IHF since its early days and has been on a journey spanning multiple initiatives, gathering valuable grassroots experience in the low-income housing sector (urban & rural) in India. Currently, at IHF she leads Engagements, both government and non-government.
Sayali also cofounded her own initiative called Centre for Inclusive Habitat, which is an online housing literacy platform. Sayali is an alumnus of Ashoka University and Mumbai University where she studied Liberal Arts and Engineering respectively. She is also an alumnus of the coveted Mother Teresa Fellowship that is a values-based leadership programme for young and highly motivate social development professionals.
